The combined wedding anniversary and Nin's birthday dinner was celebrated at Coline Verde ( Green Hill) which s probably the best restaurant in the district, not cheap by Portugese standards, but about a third of what we pay at home. But the whole ambience of the place where they had prepared a special celebratory table for us decorated with flowers was really great. All this was helped by the fact that we discovered a shared enthusiasm for and interest in Mariza, the Portugese Fado singer.
