Great fun at dinner dance last night, with good food, good company and good one-man-band. We sat at a table with Bruce and Jennifer whose house we are renting next year. This is now settled and we cannot believe how lucky we have been to get it. It became vacant when Jennifer's 96 year old father died in January. Today's picture from the party.
Today we have been painting at Malcolm and Anita's house again, doing the outside wall this time. As always seems to happen with them, a couple of hours of actual painting seems to turn into a prolonged lunch and chat, so we did not have much time to cycle home again and get to the supermarket. We were also able help Anita get on the internet again. It all seems so much more complicated with a PC than with a Mac.
We are off to explore the Alentejo next week staying in some interesting looking places, but more of that later.
