The winter we are trying to escape

Saturday, 24th January, we are still in Norway, and outside its snowing and sleeting hard, just the sort of weather we are hoping to escape when we go to the Algarve. The trouble is I talked to friends there last night and they said it had been the coldest, wettest January they could remember, so everyone was feeling fed up with the weather there! Just hope it improves by next weekend. We'll make sure we take warm clothes and raincoats just in case it doesn't!
